Additional information:
• This role is permanent, full time 76 hours per/fortnight.
• You will participate in a five-week roster covering weekends and peak periods. Your standard working days will be Monday to Friday based on site. Once every 5 weeks you will be required to work a Saturday & Sunday.
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
As Unit Facility Management Specialist, you will be based within the store working in a Facility Management team environment, supported by a Multi-Site Facilities Management Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Manage the Facilities Management (FM) services through FM direct suppliers including safety and compliance to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business and our customers.
• Follow up quality of services delivered by our suppliers through close working relationships and IKEA monitoring platforms together with the obligations set out in the service agreements.
• Support internal FM related audits and annual reviews.
• Support FM budgeting activities and the annual business plan in the unit. Attend weekly meetings to discuss operation performance / issues and contribute to solutions with the MSFM.
• Assist in controlling operational costs this will include reduction in utilities spend, raising purchase orders and reviewing suppliers' invoices for accuracy.
• Follow-up on permits, licences, certificates and reporting measures to stay compliant with local and national legislation, internal rules and requirements regarding the FM scope within Ingka.
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical support in daily operations and projects related to the FM delivery model.
• Participate in projects within FM related services as required.
• Do regular store inspections ensuring our units are in shape as new.
• You will participate in IKEA's approach to sustainability.
As Unit Facility Management Specialist, you are:
• Experienced in all aspects of FM related services and passionate to deliver reliable, efficient and seamless services to the store.
• Experienced with strong contract management skills and a solution-focused mindset to resolve FM related issues.
• Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
• Able to identify opportunities and make recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
• Able to work autonomously, take initiative and possess excellent communication skills to deliver set tasks with a sense of urgency to meet timelines and budgets.
• Able to organise, prioritise and manage administrative tasks, with a good understanding of Microsoft office programs, including Excel and FM related software platforms.
• Experienced within service agreement management and KPI's with suppliers.
