About This Role
This is a pivotal position to manage corporate communications, public affairs, and media engagement while listening and representing the industry to coordinate advocacy programs aligned with AMA's Strategic Plan.
The Job
You are accountable for professional and effective writing and communication of media releases, generating promotional materials and reports, public relations and promotional activities, plus gathering information for educational opportunities.
* Manage all media relationships and content professionally
* Generate compelling content across all mediums effectively
* Oversee public relations and promotional activity
* Gather intelligence and convert to educational opportunities
* Create and manage all online content
* Work with external and internal stakeholders gathering intelligent narrative
* Maintain strong teamwork within a small but dedicated team
