We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.
About the Role:
The Senior Cost Manager will be responsible for managing project profitability, externalizing within the local property market to raise company profile and generate new leads, assisting with bid writing and negotiation of contracts, integrating with cost management teams in South Australia, and working independently to take responsibility for deliverables.
This includes producing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports, estimating and cost planning, tendering and procurement, dealing with post contract cost variances and change control processes, progress claim assessments, and taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects.
Additionally, the Senior Cost Manager will be responsible for producing monthly post contract cost reports for the Line Manager to present to clients and inputting into value engineering.
Requirements:
* A recognized degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
* Preferable RICS and AIQS accredited
* Sound experience in cost planning in Healthcare, Education and Commercial projects
* Defence experience and baseline security clearance is a plus
