Civil Construction Plant Operations Apprenticeship
This apprenticeship provides the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a nationally recognised course of training through on-the-job working experience and training with an employer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out measurements and calculations accurately
* Perform manual excavation, spreading and compacting materials efficiently
* Conduct basic levelling tasks
* Handle resources and infrastructure materials safely
* Dispose of non-toxic materials responsibly
* Operate small plants and equipment effectively
* Drain and dewater civil construction sites correctly
Essential Criteria for Success:
* Commitment to developing skills and knowledge
* Able to listen, follow instructions and ask for assistance when required
* Punctuality and ability to make a positive contribution to the workplace
* Act responsibly and safely in the workplace at all times
* Develop effective working relationships with colleagues
* Complete timesheets correctly and on-time
Apprenticeship Requirements:
* Adhere to the terms and conditions of the Training Contract
* Complete relevant inductions
* Perform work in a satisfactory manner
* Commit to and complete the Training Plan within allocated timeframe
* Comply with relevant registration and legislation
