Health By Nurture is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife to join our growing team in Bunbury, Western Australia on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will provide high-quality nursing and midwifery care, making a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our patients.
What you'll be doing
Delivering comprehensive nursing and/or midwifery care to patients, including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing interventions
Collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimise patient care
Administering medications and treatments in accordance with nursing practice guidelines and hospital policies
Monitoring patient progress and responding to changes in condition
Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar nursing or midwifery role
Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing/midwifery practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care
Adaptability and the ability to work calmly under pressure
Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and relevant software
Eligibility to work in Australia with unrestricted work rights
