We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join a leading road safety organisation, ensuring swift repairs and management of equipment in the field.
This role involves working with advanced hardware and software systems, including radar and camera integration, operating systems, and communication software.
You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and repairing fixed and mobile platforms used in our enforcement solutions, ensuring their optimal performance.
You will collaborate with the Project Engineering team, Fleet Manager, and service partners to maintain high standards in service delivery.
With a strong focus on technical knowledge, fault-finding, and the ability to plan and organize work effectively, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities Deployment & Maintenance: Install, deploy, and maintain technology solutions, ensuring they are ready for operation on schedule.
Scheduled & Unscheduled Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance and emergency repairs on hardware and fleet systems.
Customer Interaction: Respond to and resolve client requests and inquiriesSite Surveys: Perform site assessments to evaluate the suitability of locations for new deployments.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including troubleshooting and technical reports.About You You will be a skilled Service Technician with a demonstrated experience in providing technical services, fault finding and repair focused on high technology and automation products.
A tertiary or trade qualification is a must (electronics, electrical, or computer-related fields will be well regarded) .
Coupled with your technical expertise, you will possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in fast-paced environments.
There will be a degree of travel within the local region and may include the occasional intrastate or interstate trip.
Applicants will be required to undertake police checks and must have a clean driving record.
