Support the Group Manager of Social & Community Services
- Hybrid WFH | Significant Leave Benefits | 35 Hour Week
Grow your career in public administration by joining Councils collaborative and dynamic Social and Community Services unit as PA to the Group Manager.
The City of Parramatta is going through unprecedented change and transformation as it becomes Sydney's Central City. The intensity of growth and investment in City of Parramatta means that Council, their partners, and community have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the City's future and ensure it is culturally, socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable.
**About the role**
This role will see you providing direct support to our Group Manager of Social & Community Services. You will provide diary management, office management support, contribute to broader projects and provide ad-hoc support where required. This role will see you collaborating with peers to maintain an office environment and culture that is resourceful, engaging, safe and efficient. You will be provided with development opportunities and autonomy to further your career and add true value to the team.
**About You**
To excel in this position, you will need to have demonstrated success in supporting a Senior Manager in a Personal Assistant/Administrative Assistant capacity or similar. You will have at least three years experience in a similar role, and although not a pre-requisite, it would be highly desirable if you have had exposure within a team or business that provided social/community services. You will need to possess a high level of integrity and initiative, with a willingness to help colleagues and motivate others. It would be ideal but not essential if you have TRIM, TechOne and Pathways experience.
You will be working with an independent and inclusive Group Manager who values good communication, positivity, self-sufficiency and enabling others to perform their roles with joy and satisfaction. Does that sound like someone you will work well with? Well, what are you waiting for?
**What's on offer**
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $74,228.95 to $81,746 (salary + superannuation).
In addition, City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which include:
