Assistant Manager – The Silverwater Hotel, Silverwater
The Silverwater Hotel is a proudly local pub and part of The Marlow Hotel Group. Known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere, the venue features a vibrant sports bar, outdoor dining, and a dedicated gaming room. We're a community favourite – by locals, for locals.
We're currently on the lookout for a hands‑on and passionate Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. Working closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager, you'll help oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the venue while ensuring outstanding customer service and a positive team culture.
About the Role:
As Assistant Manager, you'll be responsible for all standard shift duties and will be set tailored KPIs to support your growth and development. You'll be given regular learning opportunities and real support to build your leadership and hospitality skills.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a similar hotel or hospitality management role
* Impeccable personal presentation and attention to detail
* Strong skills in handling customer complaints and negotiations
* Solid stock control knowledge
* Demonstrated experience in gaming operations
* A natural leader with strong team‑building abilities
* A passion for training, developing, and motivating staff
* A fun, positive attitude while staying focused on achieving results
* Valid RSA and RCG certifications (mandatory)
