Overview

Product Owner Clinical Applications (Health Manager Level 4) – Digital Health and Innovation. The DH&I; Product Owner (Clinical Applications) will lead the eMR Clinical Applications teams in SLHD and SWSLHD to deliver ongoing application support and service improvements for both LHDs, applying clinical knowledge and technical leadership to achieve optimal eMR outcomes within the shared domain.

Location: Royal Prince Alfred Hospital campus, with potential to work at other SLHD facilities. The Digital Health teams provide 24/7 system support and on-call roster may apply.

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time; 38 hours per week up to July 2028

Position Classification: Health Manager Level 4

Remuneration: $2,720.92 - $3,241.77 per week + Annual Leave Loading + Superannuation

Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day management of activities relevant to the planning, configuration, testing and implementation of clinical application products in the shared SLHD/SWSLHD eMR domain.
- Coordinate and oversee training, coaching, mentoring and development of eMR Clinical Applications Product Analysts and Application Analysts in both SLHD and SWSLHD, in conjunction with the eMR Product Manager/Clinical Applications Manager.
- Ensure governance alignment with the SLHD/SWSLHD shared eMR governance model and strategic directions, including governance, team integration and shared work prioritisation.
- Collaborate with the Sydney LHD Clinical Systems and Digital Health Product Team and the South Western LHD Clinical Information Systems Team to implement and support electronic medical records for projects and BAU work.
- Assign and oversee eMR clinical applications activities across two teams with a shared eMR Clinical Applications workplan.
- Provide flexibility to work across SLHD/SWSLHD facilities as required and participate in 24/7 on-call roster as per product support requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

- Understanding of clinical information systems with experience delivering clinical application products across a functionally shared team.
- Experience managing a product lifecycle and leading multidisciplinary teams in a large, complex clinical ICT service workplace, and/or relevant ICT/Management degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in design, configuration and deployment of digital health systems.
- Solid organisational skills with ability to prioritise, multi-task and maintain customer-focused delivery in a high-volume, changing setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate and influence, and articulate the benefits of technical standards to achieve business outcomes.
