Occupational Therapist Job Description
* Assess and provide intervention for paediatric clients with various diagnoses and disabilities.
* Work with a dedicated team of OT professionals in the NDIS division, assessing and providing therapy services to meet client needs.
About the Role:
The Occupational Therapist will assess and provide intervention for paediatric clients with various diagnoses and disabilities. This includes assessment and intervention services such as ABC Movement, Beery, DASH, DVTP, Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments, Sensory Assessments, Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments, Home Modifications Assessments (including complex), Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments, Environmental Risk Assessments, and Skill building and ongoing therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of paediatric clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
* Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to meet client goals.
* Provide ongoing therapy services to support client progress and independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with AHPRA (or ability to register).
* Driver's license and own vehicle.
* Ability to obtain required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).
