SME Insurance Portfolio | Canberra
An established national insurance brokerage is looking for an ambitious Assistant Account Executive who's ready to step up into a full Account Executive role or an established Account Executive with 1-3 years experience.
This is a genuine development opportunity where you'll take ownership of a $400k SME portfolio, supported by experienced leaders, structured training, and clear pathways to increased responsibility and career progression.
The Role
You'll be managing your own SME portfolio, with hands-on support to ensure you're set up for success.
Responsibilities include:
Managing and servicing a $400k SME client portfolio
Handling renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day client enquiries
Liaising with insurers on placements, negotiations, and policy terms
Providing proactive, solutions-focused advice to SME clients
Working closely with senior brokers and support teams as you step up
What We're Looking For
Experience as an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive
Exposure to SME insurance (essential)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confidence dealing with clients and insurers
Motivation to take on more responsibility and grow into an Account Executive role
Tier 1
