We're on the hunt for a communications expert to join our vibrant consumer team in Sydney as a Senior Account Manager. If your experience ticks the following criteria, we'd love to hear from you!
4-5 years experience within a public relations agency, specialising in tourism, hospitality, lifestyle and retail Experience managing and delivering integrated campaigns that demonstrate your understanding for identifying the most appropriate communications channels for a campaign and the right team to successfully implement it. Strong experience in various forms of communications to various stakeholder types. A sound understanding of the role PR, social, content and experiential has across integrated and marketing campaigns Strong communication and presentation skills Experience managing and mentoring a team, setting clear tasks and timelines, while providing prompt and effective feedback. Ability to juggle multiple campaigns and clients at once with sharp time management skills Experience working with agency partners to deliver integrated campaigns Proficient in developing communication assets with exceptional writing and editing skills A sharp eye for identifying growth opportunities with clients and new business An avid consumer of media who has their finger on the pulse across news, current affairs and pop culture Strong relationships across the Australian media landscape, particularly in the consumer/lifestyle space Proven track record developing trusted and lasting relationships with clients, as well as media, influencers and suppliers Experience managing campaign budgets and tracking campaigns to ensure they are delivered within budget and to deadline Robust experience delivering successful integrated campaigns for lifestyle/consumer brands The shifty way We're not about finding like-minded people, in fact, you could go as far as saying we're looking for non-likeminded people to bring new, different and interesting ideas to the table. The finer details Full-time, based out of our Sydney Three days in the office, two remote Permanent position, May starting date Salary commensurate with experience What your days, weeks, months generally look like Executing campaigns and retainer client work: which may include pitching, copywriting, influencer and ambassador management, attending video and photo shoots, organising and attending media calls. Team management: ensure client work is delivered by the team on time, on budget and in line with set KPIs. Working particularly closely with your Account Director and Senior Account Director, you'll be involved in the professional development of your team, feeding into their annual reviews, KPI check-ins, etc. Client management: lead client WIPs, support new briefs and responses, exceptional media knowledge. Admin: capacity planning, finance and time sheet analysis, team one-on-ones, invoicing and ensuring all client admin (such as WIP docs, agendas, meeting notes, etc) is delivered on time by your team.
