Disability Support Role
We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
This role involves delivering a range of care services, including palliative care, personal care, domestic assistance, in-home respite, community access, and group activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Palliative Care: Providing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual/religious support to patients and their families.
* Personal Care: Assisting with daily living tasks, including showering, dressing, and other essential activities.
* Domestic Assistance: Performing general housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
* In-Home Respite: Caring for clients within their home for a period of time, allowing their carers/family members to take a break.
* Community Access: Assisting clients with attending appointments, shopping, visiting friends and family, and enjoying a day out.
* Group Activities: Attending groups with clients for interaction, events, social support, and skill building.
Requirements:
* Comprehensive Car Insurance
* P1 License Minimum
* Valid Police Check (within 12 months)
* WWCC (Paid Employment within 12 months)
* Reliable Vehicle
* First Aid
* Minimum 1 Year Experience in a Relevant Field
* Cert 3/4 or Higher in Community Services, Aged Care, Disability Support, Mental Health, or Related Fields
