Sales Engineer – Refrigeration (HVAC&R)

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Archerfield branch. Given the niche nature of the industry, we are open to experienced Refrigeration Technicians who are ready to step into an engineering or technical sales role, with full support and development provided.

About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you'll act as the technical link between our products, our sales teams and our customers. You'll provide engineering advice, support equipment selection, assist with quoting and commissioning, and help drive sustainable sales growth across the region.
This role is predominantly on-site at our Archerfield branch to support the sales team and customers, with flexibility for customer site visits and some work-from-home arrangements where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical advice on refrigeration and HVAC&R equipment applications
* Support sales teams and customers with equipment selection, design input and specifications
* Assist with quotes, project support and follow-up to drive successful outcomes
* Attend customer meetings, site visits, presentations and product launches
* Collaborate with sales, marketing and national teams to support growth strategies
* Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors and key customers
* Maintain CRM records and contribute to sales planning and forecasting
* Promote safety, quality and best-practice outcomes across all activities

About You
You may come from a technical, trade or engineering background, and you don't need to tick every box.
We're particularly keen to hear from:
* Refrigeration or HVAC&R Technicians looking to transition into an engineering or technical sales role
* Candidates with hands-on refrigeration experience who enjoy problem-solving and customer engagement
You'll also bring:
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A practical, solutions-focused mindset
* The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* Confidence working with customers, consultants and internal stakeholders
* A desire to learn, grow and develop within a specialist engineering role
Formal engineering or business qualifications are welcome but not essential.
