Role Overview:
Reporting to the State Operations Manager, the Branch Operations Supervisor supports the State Operations Manager throughout QLD. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure branches have sufficient support, resources, and guidance to achieve objectives while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. The role involves regular travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly reporting of activities and projects.
* Effective planning for growth within the branches.
* Management of the general operations of all branch staff in collaboration with Branch Managers.
* Develop operational budgets by branch and work with management to meet financial targets.
* Identify staff strengths, weaknesses, and development needs across all branches.
* Ensure timely delivery to customers.
* Maximize logistics and yard operations efficiency.
* Maintain delivery costs within budgets and collaborate with branch management.
* Recruitment of driver contractors where viable.

Required Skills & Experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Management
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Proven leadership and mentoring skills across multiple sites
* Exceptional communication skills
