Job Description

As the Sales Lead for our Federal Government portfolio, you will be the primary driver of our growth and strategic expansion within Commonwealth agencies. This role offers a unique platform to lead high‐impact sales initiatives, focusing on both deepening our footprint within established departments and aggressively pursuing new logos across the federal landscape. You will be responsible for identifying, shaping, and closing the complex, multi‐year deals that define the future of digital government in Australia.

Beyond the immediate sales cycle, you will play a critical role in elevating the NCS brand. You will be expected to nurture deep, executive‐level relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to C‐level stakeholders and ICT decision‐makers. By representing NCS at industry events and contributing to thought leadership, you will advocate for a more innovative and citizen‐centric approach to government technology.

Qualifications
* Sector Expertise: Proven experience leading Federal Government sales for a tech consultancy, systems integrator, or IT services firm.
* Deal Mastery: A track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets through expert negotiation and navigation of complex tender processes (RFT/ATMgång).
* Matrix Navigability: Exceptional ability to collaborate across large, complex organisations to deliver integrated solutions.
* Influence: Strong networking skills with the ability intensity ??? to engage at the executive level and inspire internal teams.
* Strategic Mindset: The ability to move beyond transactional sales to develop long‐term, data‐driven strategies that align with government mandates.
