Primary Objective
Become a cohesive member of the Broiler service team to oversee all contract and Hazeldene Broiler farms.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the detailed and diligent servicing of Hazeldene's broiler farm network.
* Undertake continued appraisal of broiler farms to ensure optimal performance is being achieved; provide written reports of observations and recommendations, and implement corrective actions or report findings to the Broiler Group Manager.
* Follow and implement all company policies and procedures regarding animal welfare, WHS, environmental and biosecurity.
* Liaise with other sections of farming including the Hatchery, Processing and Programming divisions.
* Always maintain confidentiality regarding the business of Hazeldene's Chicken Farm Pty Ltd.
Essential Skills
* Previous experience in livestock management, particularly poultry, with a strong commitment to the welfare of stock.
* Current driver's licence.
* Excellent communicator with strong reading, writing and communication skills in English.
* Excellent leadership skills, including conflict resolution and problem solving.
* Knowledge of quality systems, WHSE procedures and understanding of how day-to-day activities can impact animal welfare, biosecurity and the environment.

Due to bio‐security reasons, candidates are not permitted to have any form of pigs, poultry and/or birds at their place of residence.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you must have the legal right to work full-time (without restrictions) in Australia at the time of application. As part of the recruitment process and ongoing employment, you may be required to undergo background checks, including verification of work rights, police checks, medical assessments and/or drug and alcohol testing.
