Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be someone who aspires to one day be a Residential Manager, has superior communication skills, and highly developed clinical skills with a passion for the delivery of exceptional care to residents. You will lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and care workers, and act as a mentor to your team. This role will be in charge when the Residential Manager is off site or on leave.
With a passion for resident care and delivering high standards of customer-focused service, you will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead and mentor clinical staff in the absence of the Residential Manager.
* Assist with the running of the aged care residence based in Singleton.
* Maintain high standards of resident care and service delivery.
* Foster a collaborative, accountable, respectful and empathetic team culture.
Qualifications & Skills
* Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience in either a Clinical Manager or Quality Manager role
* Minimum 5 years in a leadership role that involves people management
* Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Act, accreditation requirements and AN-ACC
* Highly developed supervision/leadership/management experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting
* Excellent people management, relationship building and negotiation skills
* Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
* Police Check (within 12 months)
