Responsibilities
Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans.
Prepare, review, and approve work packages.
Implement Bechtel's SWPPs, project specifications and procedures, applicable codes, and drawings to ensure that construction installation requirements are met.
Perform in progress and final quality and completeness inspections of Electrical and Telecommunications installation.
Develop punch lists and monitor completion of punch items.
Prepare and disposition Request for Information (RFI's), Field Change Documents (FCD's) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Collaborate with design engineering through to final disposition.
Coordinate with engineering to resolve E&I design and constructability issues.
Resolve and close out of vendor and Modyard carryover works, NCRs and necessary documentations.
Provide technical assistance to superintendents, supervisors, and craft professionals.
Material Management Initiates requisitions for field purchases.
Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.
Reviews material receiving reports and performs material receiving inspections.
Quantities Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.
Reporting on daily and weekly installed quantities to Project Controls.
Safety / Quality Control Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
Perform quality control inspections and manage associated Inspection and Test Records (ITRs).
Ensure completed work packages and ITRs are submitted to Turnover.
Technical Proactively considers continuous learning or shows interest to pursue appropriate learning activities
