Our Purpose
Reporting to the Project Management Stream Leader - Customer Assets our new Project Manager will join the highly successful and customer centric project team who are leading “The Home Energy” Transformation program of work. This program is pivotal in delivering EnergyAustralia’s strategic priorities by establishing new products and services for our customers and building a simple customer experience integrating energy from the grid with behind the meter solutions. One stream of the program is establishing the technology and business processes to manage individual customers assets, orchestrate the overall fleet and optimise the virtual power plant performance.

Following agile project methodologies, our new Project Manager will be responsible for the management of end to end from scoping through to successful delivery, including scheduling, planning, risk management, tracking of cost, time and quality. This project is critical for the success of many strategic enterprise-wide deliverables and hence will be high profile with key stakeholder steering committees involvement across EnergyAustralia. We will enjoy watching you thrive in this role when you are applying your capabilities from;
* Being “Hands on” PM both technical and people leadership whilst operating in a cross-functional project
* Delivery record in ideally the energy, customer/retail and/or customer services sectors
* Demonstrated skills using Agile tools of Azure & Confluence at an Immediate to Expert level
* Business acumen to identify opportunities, develop compelling business cases and drive for benefits which affect the “bottom line” and budget management
* Superior understanding & demonstrated experience in best practice project management including scope, time, cost, quality, people, communications, cost, risk, procurement, integration, and benefits management
* Ability to translate strategic objectives, delivery commitments and operational performance through effective and best in class program management.
* Extensive stakeholder management experience with the demonstrated ability for being a trusted advisor and bringing key delivery groups together
* Leveraging your tertiary and professional development qualifications across Project Management
