Regional Development Australia NT (RDA NT) is implementing a new strategy and organisational structure to deliver stronger regional economic outcomes across the Northern Territory. A newly created Business Support Officer position will provide the operational backbone that enables the CEO and team to focus on strategic delivery.
About the role
The Business Support Officer provides efficient operational, administrative and financial support to the CEO, Board and team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing executive administration support to the CEO and Committee, including meeting preparation, minute taking and follow up of actions.
* Managing office operations, including facilities, procurement, records management and vendor relationships.
* Coordinating HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, leave management, payroll liaison and performance review support.
* Supporting financial operations in conjunction with CEO and bookkeeper.
* Arranging Committee and staff travel and logistics, and supporting Board and Committee meetings, events and project delivery.
About you
* Demonstrated experience in executive administration and office management, including support to senior leaders and/or Boards.
* Knowledge of HR and financial processes, with strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and problem solving ability.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with MYOB or similar systems, with a willingness to embrace new tools and platforms.
Salary and conditions
* Pro rata salary up to $54,000 (equivalent to $90,000 fulltime) plus 12% superannuation based on experience.
* 0.6 FTE (45.6 hours per fortnight), based in Darwin.
* 6 weeks annual leave per year (pro-rate for part time)
