Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Fortescue's Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.Roster:7D7N14R - FIFO from PerthThis role will be responsible for repairing, maintaining and improving conveyor systems and equipment to meet operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out steel cord & fabric conveyor belt splicing and repairsLag pulleys on site with cold vulcanized lagging in compliance with Fortescue work standardsApply rubber linings to pipes, spools, launders, chutes etcConveyor system maintenance including but not limited to roller changes, roller frame change out & repairs, skirt replacement & repairs, installation of tracking devicesMaintain safety & belt hygiene standards across the fixed plant processOperate mechanical conveyor belt handling equipment such as winders, winches and belt standsConduct preventative maintenance inspections and log all information into the asset management app (PDS)Qualifications and ExperienceLevel 2 or 3 Belt Splicing Trade Qualification or similar.Knowledge and experience in computer maintenance management systemsSignificant experience in a fixed plant continuous processing plantStrong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale, continuous processing plantsProven commitment to safety and zero harmAbout UsBe part of something big.
