In this role, you will build and maintain key media relationships, develop impactful PR campaigns, lead our agency team, manage influencer partnerships, and execute press office functions.You will work closely with the wider Marketing Communications team to drive brand awareness, manage media relations, and cultivate positive relationships that establish Lush as the most talked about brand in Australia and Aotearoa with the biggest community.Key ObjectivesLeverage PR tactics and stay ahead of trends to understand where conversations are happening.Develop an impactful PR strategy aligned with global and local marketing goals that drives media coverage and enhances reputation, contributing to brand reach, positive footfall, and digital traffic to Lush.Manage the agencies we work with to ensure they meet their objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a locally relevant PR strategy aligned with global messaging to drive brand, product, and issue awareness and footfall.Cultivate relationships with media, influencers, and PR agencies to secure impactful earned coverage and foster partnerships.Manage and brief PR agencies in Australia and Aotearoa, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and campaign goals.Manage PR stock control, budget allocation, and ensure efficient resource utilization.Drive thought leadership and brand storytelling through corporate PR, creative campaigns, and stakeholder engagement, including press and speaking opportunities for key spokespeople.Report on PR performance, provide timely insights, manage awards submissions, and align with global reporting processes.Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise5+ years in a PR or communications role, preferably in a fast-paced consumer or retail environment.Experience working with or within an agency capacity.Proven track record of successfully managing (creative) PR campaigns from ideation to execution.Ability to secure coverage across traditional media, social platforms, and influencer networks.Knowledge of local market trends and global practices to ensure culturally relevant messaging.Sensitivity to ethical and advocacy-related communications.Experience working in a global or cross-functional environment, aligning local strategies with broader goals.
