High Voltage Estimator – Join a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor | Full-Time Permanent
Star Group is seeking a highly skilled HV Estimator to join our team in Condell Park. The primary focus of this role is estimating high-voltage and public infrastructure projects.
This role also presents an opportunity for a secondary focus in either HV project delivery or LV estimating, depending on experience and capability. This is a unique opportunity to join a company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality electrical projects.

The Role
As an HV Estimator, you will play a critical role in accurately assessing project costs and preparing tender submissions that meet client and internal expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Identifying project cost requirements and ensuring accurate estimationLiaising with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and internal stakeholdersPreparing and delivering high-quality tender submissions within tight deadlinesUtilising Star Group’s estimating systems and processes effectivelyReviewing estimates with management before submission to ensure accuracyEnsuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and Australian and electricity supply authority standards
High Voltage Tendering Scope
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of major HV projects, including:
Private HV projects (typically $1.5M-$5M)Data Centres - powering up digitallyWater sector - supporting sustainable communitiesRail/Metro projects - keep our cities moving seamlesslyHealth projects - delivering critical services to peopleWe also work on ASP1 projects (typically $500K-$3M)Chamber Substations & Kiosk SubstationsHigh voltage customer connections
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
Electrical trade qualifications and relevant electrical experienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in HV roles and electrical estimatingExperience tendering and/or delivering ASP1 and private HV projectsProven experience in construction, electrical estimating and tender preparationStrong proficiency with estimating software and spreadsheetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholdersExceptional attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlinesKnowledge of bid and tender processes, with the ability to meet client requirementsFamiliarity with any or all NSW public electricity supply authority (Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy) network standards will be viewed favourably
