* Salary : $88,099 - $94,791 based on level of experience, plus super

About the role

he Case Manager, Family Services supports Aboriginal children and families referred to VACCA by providing culturally safe, holistic and trauma informed assistance. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role partners closely with parents, carers, and key stakeholders to deliver coordinated support that strengthens families and meets identified needs. This position empowers families to share their stories, participate fully in decision‐making, and work towards self‐determination through respectful engagement and culturally grounded planning.

About You

You're a skilled Case Manager who builds strong, culturally safe relationships with families through outreach, engagement, and trauma‐informed support. You help parents strengthen their skills, keep children safe, and stay connected to culture using coaching, mentoring, and reflective practice. You listen, adapt to family needs, and create healing spaces at home, in community, and on Country. Collaborative and organised, you work confidently with care teams and partners while keeping family voice, cultural safety, and positive outcomes at the centre.

Requirements

* Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Worker and/or substantial experience in these fields.
* Valid Police Check, a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
* Current COVID-19 vaccination(Strongly Recommended)
