Overview:
Auswest Petals is a WA-grown, family-operated wholesale provider of premium fresh-cut blooms and foliage. From our home in Canning Vale, we deliver beauty and precision to florists across the state—supported by a dedicated, skilled team.
We are hiring for two distinct roles: an Operations Administrator to manage order workflows and deliver flawless logistics, and a Sales Administrator to serve as our customer liaison and support our sales initiatives. Apply for one—or both—based on your strengths.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Administration
• Ensure all orders are recorded accurately in our CRM and generate purchase orders accordingly.
• Work closely with our warehouse team to ensure stock is received, processed, and displayed correctly.
• Allocate flowers to the bouquet assembly team and oversee the process in the CRM software.
• Manage bouquet team rosters to ensure smooth production.
• Control stock usage and implement strategies to minimise wastage.
• Coordinate seasonal inventory reviews and operational reporting.
Sales Administration
• Process customer orders and respond to client enquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Prepare quotes, invoices, and other sales documents.
• Maintain accurate CRM and inventory records.
• Assist in marketing activities including newsletters and promotions.
• Support account managers with customer follow-ups and special orders.
What We're Looking For
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with both operations and administration responsibilities.
• Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
• Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of flowers or experience in the floral industry is highly desirable, but not essential.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and within a team.
Role Details
• Permanent, full-time position — Monday to Friday
• Standard hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm (flexible and negotiable)
