Overview
Working with one of our major glasshouse growers, known for providing delicious fruits and vegetables to families across Australia you will contribute to the team as Glasshouse Pickers, Packhouse Operators and Forklift Drivers across Day and Afternoon Shifts. Hort Award with the casual rate of $30.45 per hour.
About the Position:
* You will see yourself picking, deleafing and vine training tomatoes and qukes
* Crop care duties
* Operating and monitoring production line equipment
* Regular quality control
* Forklift duties if licensed
What We're Looking For:
* Ability to work in hot, humid conditions
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team
* Strong focus on maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks
* Demonstrated safety record
* Demonstrated English language and numeracy proficiency
* Ability to follow guidelines and instructions
* Good communication skills to contribute positively, report issues and coordinate with the team
* Demonstrated knowledge of operating safely in an agricultural environment and adhering to WHSE requirements.
* Workers must demonstrate the ability to get to work each day using their own transport as no public transport is available near the work location.
