Key Responsibilities
Operations Control (Day‑of‑Operations)
* Flight following: Monitor active trips, coordinate changes, mitigate disruptions (incl. AOG recovery), and keep clients informed.
* Crew & schedule coordination: Liaise with Flight Operations to align crew rosters, slots, and handling with the confirmed itinerary.
* Operational standards & dispatcher support: Provide pilots‑in‑command with information required for safe and legal flight; apply best‑practice dispatch guidance (NAT Doc 007) when relevant to international ops.
* Vendor coordination: Interface with FBOs, ground handlers, fuel, and service partners to ensure on‑time performance and service quality.
Charter Sales & Client Management
* Lead management: Field inbound online and phone enquiries; respond with urgency and professionalism.
* Pre-qualification & trip activation: Clarify client needs, budgets, routes, and special requirements; activate trip requests.
* Aircraft sourcing & quoting: Source suitable aircraft per client specifications; prepare competitive quotes; negotiate commercial terms.
* Ancillary services: Arrange or delegate catering, ground transport, and VIP airport services to deliver an effortless end‑to‑end experience.
* Relationship management: Build and maintain a personal client book; drive repeat business through proactive account stewardship.
Safety, Security & Compliance
* Company policies: Operate in line with Global Jet International's internal policies and procedures.
* Regulatory adherence: Ensure quotes and trip execution comply with applicable CASA and international regulations; escalate to the Head of Flying Operations when required.
* Client experience standards: Uphold Global Jet International's VIP service philosophy across all touchpoints.
Commercial Outcomes
* Margin management: Quote with disciplined margin assumptions and manage trip cost drivers (aircraft, handling, catering, repositioning, etc.).
* Data hygiene: Maintain accurate CRM and operational records; complete post‑flight reports and invoice support packs on time.

Skills, Experience & Attributes
Essential
* Experience in aviation sales or operations control.
* Strong communication and client‑facing skills; customer‑centric mindset.
* Proficiency with quoting systems and charter workflow tools; attention to detail.
* Sound operational judgement and problem‑solving in dynamic environments.
* Proven ability to coordinate catering, ground transport, and airport services.
Desirable
* Familiarity with dispatcher practices for international operations (NAT/ETOPS/airspace procedures).
* Ability to perform occasional aircraft marshalling or operate specialist vehicles when required (site‑specific training provided).
