About Us
John Fawkner Private Hospital is located in the north-west suburbs of Melbourne. With 186 registered beds, an emergency department, 5 operating theatres, 12 bed Critical Care Complex and a busy day surgery/endoscopy unit the hospital provides a wide range of services to its community.
The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, oncology, cardiology, urology, plastic surgery, ENT and gynaecology.
As An Enrolled Nurse, Your Responsibilities Will Include
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria
Authority to Work in Australia
Minimum 2 years' experience
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement " (salaries range between $33.30 and $35.40 per hour).
