About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to lead our clinical team as Director of Nursing.
This senior leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating policies related to patient care, ensuring that they align with best practice standards.
The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
They will also be accountable for the efficient use of resources, including human resources, to ensure high-quality patient care.
The role requires a deep understanding of the Australian Registered Nurse Standards of Practice and the ability to apply this knowledge in a dynamic healthcare environment.
About You
To be considered for this position, you must be a registered nurse with a current annual practicing certificate, as registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this role, and prior experience in a similar leadership capacity would be highly regarded.
This appointment has been identified as 'key personnel' under the Aged Care Act 1997.
