**HR Advisor / Officer (P/T - Maternity Leave Cover)**
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor / Officer for an immediate start to provide full cycle Human Resources support for our Western Australia business unit covering Maternity Leave for approximately 10 - 11 months and working on a Part-Time basis (3-4 days per week).
Based in Osborne Park, this is a great opportunity for a true Human Resources generalist who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, to join the HR Team. Our HR Team is knowledgeable, with a strong desire to make an impact in their roles, are always ready for a laugh and are willing to go out of their way to help each other.
Reporting to the HR Manager - Western Region, you will be trusted to:
- Work in partnership with Senior Management and the broader People and Capability team to identify and facilitate effective, consistent people management strategies to meet business plans
- Manage HR grievances and complaints, ensuring consistency and adherence to legislation and Georgiou values.
- Provide confidential advice on a broad range of HR matters mostly relating to company policies & procedures, terms & conditions of employment, and employee benefits
- Facilitate effective HR meetings and participate in site audits/visits to build strong working relationships to deliver high-quality and professional HR services across Georgiou projects across Western Australia.
- Ensure operational and day to day HR requirements of the business throughout all employee lifecycle stages are appropriately met including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, HR management systems.

**What you're good at**:
Aside from having similar exposure in a similar HR generalist role, you are a people person and a passionate self-starter with common sense and a high-level of emotional intelligence, someone with:
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including proficient skills in computers (Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS etc.) and strong attention to detail
- The ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with a wide variety of people, internally and externally
- The ability to work independently to prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
- Ability to interpret legislation, regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements together with policy and procedure
