This role is responsible for leading the operational strategy and direction of Distribution Centres in ANZ, ensuring optimal service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
* To develop and implement operational strategies that drive business growth, customer satisfaction, and process efficiency within Distribution Centres.
* Provide leadership to a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, health and safety, and compliance with legislative requirements.
* To align inventory and S&OP strategies with regional and global goals, ensuring seamless execution across the supply chain.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including inventory management teams, and external partners such as carriers and suppliers.
* Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and budgets for labour, overheads, and capital, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
* Senior management level experience in managing time-critical, high-volume distribution centres, preferably in the electronics or maintenance industries.
* Demonstrable knowledge of change management, continuous improvement, and health and safety practices.
* Possess strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret business and supply chain forecasts, establish cost-effective processes, and provide leadership to drive high performance.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills to negotiate with employees, carriers, and other stakeholders.
* A degree-level education or equivalent, with experience working in a global business environment.
