What your day-to-day could look likeAs a member of the Finance Team and reporting to the General Manager - Finance and Risk, the Commercial Analyst will provide support with all aspects of financial performance management, including planning, budgeting and forecasting, through the provision of quality reporting and advice with a focus on systems, process and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities of the role will include;
* Review of construction projects - provide ongoing analysis and ad-hoc support
* Preparation and presentation of accurate, timely and relevant management information, monthly reports and project reports
* Assist with the company's FBT and annual return
* Ensure correct costing of credit card transactions
* Implement, maintain and improve accurate and timely reporting
* Improve and streamline business processes for efficiency and effectiveness
* Prepare, manage and monitor the overhead budget
* Review contracts to ensure contract terms are understood and followed including insurance requirements
* Manage relevant Company licences and insurance renewal
* Oversee debtor compliance and reconciliation appropriately
* Initiate bank guarantees and manage the timely receipt of outstanding bank guarantees

You will possess the following experience, skills and qualifications:
* A relevant qualification such as a Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting, as well as being CA/CPA qualified (or working towards).
* Knowledge and experience in the use of commercial accounting and administration software systems.
* Intermediate knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite
* Project/contracts administration experience and/or project financial management experience.
* Construction industry experience.
* Current SA driver's licence.
