We are looking for an experienced, system‑savvy Customer Service Specialist to join our team located on the NSW Central Coast. You will thrive on delivering an exceptional customer experience. What you do matters
Responsibilities
* Interpret and process customer orders and create customer submittal packages, collaborating with internal functional departments for accuracy and smooth order flow.
* Monitor every milestone in the order lifecycle, and act as the point of contact for pre/post manufacture communications to sales representatives, customers, ensuring proactive communication and resolution of issues, driving on‑time delivery.
* Promote BAC's Customer Experience (CX) to make a positive impact.
* Coordinate and participate in regular representative meetings and industry shows.
* Creation of various communications materials to sales representatives, customers, and other stakeholders.
* Provide training for our Sales representatives.
* Ensure correct account setup in SAP, including roles, payment terms, and Incoterms. Validate data integrity and prevent duplication during account creation and order processing.
* Use SAP analytics dashboards to track service performance metrics such as response times and escalation trends.
* Provide insights for continuous improvement and adherence to BAC's operational excellence standards.
* All tasks undertaken with priority given to safety, the interest of the environment and sustainability.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in a related field, eg., Business Administration.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a sales environment, ideally within manufacturing.
* Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP (Syteline, SAP) and CRM systems.
* Proven ability to identify, build and maintain strategic relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Pro‑active problem solving and organisational skills.
* Ability to work autonomously.
