Senior Commercial Lawyer Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on commercial and corporate matters, including contracts, litigation, restructuring, capital raising, IP protection, and M&A transactions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert guidance on complex commercial and corporate matters
* Collaborating with colleagues to build strong client relationships and drive business growth
* Gaining exposure to high-growth sectors such as fintech, MedTech, e-commerce, education, agriculture, and renewables
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex transactions and strategic agreements
* Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives to support our continued growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
* At least 2 years of experience as a Commercial & Corporate Lawyer in Australia
* Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities, with a proven ability to handle commercial contracts and corporate documents with precision
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal – you're a clear thinker, confident speaker, and effective writer
* A personable, polished approach with a strong client-first mindset and the ability to build meaningful relationships
* A proactive, collaborative attitude, and a genuine desire to be part of building something innovative within the legal industry
