About the Role:
Our Townsville site is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support our daily operations.
This role reports to the Area Operations Manager and will support some of our other production plants in the region.
As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising sites you are operating to ensure the safe and efficient production of concrete for our customers.
About you:
- Have skills in forklift and front-end loader – including HR license
- Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
- Be passionate about safety with a strong work ethic
- Have effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position
- Driver's license and own transport is essential a FEL or LF competency is beneficial, but not essential
- Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting and displaying a strong safety culture at all times
- Working as a team to get the job done
- Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes (training provided)
- Allocating and assigning loads to drivers
- Stock management and coordination of deliveries
- Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance
- Yard maintenance and front-end loader operation
- Forklift operation and manual handling of bagged products
