As a pivotal leader in our aged care team, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical care for residents with complex needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work a hands-on roster that includes PM shifts on weekdays and AM shifts on weekends, ensuring strong clinical oversight during key after-hours periods and weekends.
This leadership position requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Practicing Certificate, minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in aged care or acute clinical settings, and proven leadership and workforce management skills. You will also need strong clinical assessment, care planning, and documentation capabilities, as well as intermediate computer literacy.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing resident assessments and developing tailored care plans, coordinating clinical documentation and AN-ACC compliance reporting, providing direct, on-the-floor clinical support and leadership, mentoring and supporting a team of RNs, care staff, and volunteers, and liaising with external providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
You will play a critical role in fostering a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement, and driving quality care outcomes in a values-led aged care setting. If you are committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, and have a passion for leading clinical care delivery, we encourage you to apply.
The successful candidate will have a valid driver's licence, current National Police Check, and current First Aid & CPR certification. Postgraduate qualifications in Gerontology, Dementia, or Aged Care are desirable but not required.
