We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Logistics Quality Assurance Officer to join UH-60M Black Hawk team.
Ensure the technical airworthiness of Commonwealth-owned products in line with the Defence Logistic Manual
Conduct technical inspections of aeronautical products (AP) during receipt and issue under your delegated authorisation
Manage accurate CAMM2 and SAP transactions for all incoming and outgoing AP
Validate AP before it's fitted to aircraft
Take responsibility for recall duties when required
Who you are:
You're a skilled aviation technician or engineer with hands-on experience in either the Defence or civilian aerospace sector. You understand the critical importance of safety, precision, and compliance in everything you do. You thrive in team environments and are ready to support a program of national significance.
To be successful, you'll bring:
An Associate Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent civilian/Defence qualification (e.g. Aeroskills certification with relevant experience)
Technical aviation experience or recognised prior learning (RPL) from Defence or industry
A strong grasp of aviation safety principles and airworthiness standards
Proficiency with digital tools and the ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team
The ability to hold or obtain a Commonwealth NV1 security clearance
It's a bonus if you also have:
Experience with Aviation Quality Management Systems
CAMM2 qualifications or familiarity (Data Manager or Technician level)
Experience with Defence/civilian technical and logistics systems, including SAP
Location: Horningsea Park, NSW
Note this role includes an on-call component.
