The Boathouse Tavern is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in a Coomera. You will have the opportunity to work for an independently owned hospitality group that values and nurtures their employees to maximise performance and personal growth.

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day kitchen operations along with building a passionate kitchen team.
Essential Attributes:
* Min. 3 years previous professional experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in a high-volume kitchen
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
* Positive attitude contributing to a positive work environment with excellent leadership, communication and training abilities
* Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
* Current Food Safety Supervisor certification
* Strong understanding of kitchen operations, costing, staffing, and scheduling
* Attention to detail and a passion for food quality, presentation and consistency
