Hotel Concierge Role
As a hotel concierge, you will be the first point of contact for guests upon arrival. Your role will involve ensuring their vehicles are safely parked and retrieved, managing pick-up times to guarantee early departures, and providing a warm welcome every time.
You will check the daily arrival list for VIPs or guests with special needs, ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage, mail messages, and equipment in an efficient and timely manner, and guide guests to their room and assist with their luggage. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery and collection of group luggage.
Your duties will also include being present at the reception desk or lobby to assist guests, colleagues, and visitors when requested. You will need to maintain a clean and presentable lobby/foyer area, including entry/exit doors, and conduct regular checks.
In this role, you will respond to guest requests and queries, providing a knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful information service.
The ideal candidate will have an energetic team-focused attitude, enthusiasm to connect with guests, exceptional communication skills, high computer literacy, and reliability. They should also be well-groomed and possess excellent attention to detail. The ability to work across a 7-day roster, including evenings, mornings, and weekends, is essential. A Full Tasmanian Manual Driver's Licence is required.
