The Position
As a Senior/Associate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and providing construction phase assistance for large and complex structures.
* Conducting calculations and structural analysis in accordance with guidelines, practice, Australian Standards, health and safety regulations, and local authorities' regulations.
* Managing design communication and professional relationships with stakeholders.
* Collaborating with engineers and drafters to deliver high-quality structural design and documentation.
* Project management.
* Providing technical support to clients and internal customers.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
* At least 5-7 years' experience in a structural engineer role within a consultancy environment.
* Experience in designing and providing construction phase assistance for projects involving complex structures.
* Ability to produce complex calculations in all structural materials (steel, concrete, timber, and masonry).
* Sound knowledge of Australian Standard design codes and techniques.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
