The Pathway Coordinator role is crucial in developing and implementing pathways for undergraduate programs at UNSW Canberra. This involves collaboration with internal teams, schools, and community organizations to promote and strengthen pathway opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement pathways for undergraduate programs in close collaboration with the Manager.
* Collaborate with internal teams, secondary schools, vocational institutions, and community organizations to promote and strengthen pathway opportunities.
* Provide administrative support services with empathy and engagement.
* Establish and maintain accurate records and reporting systems.
* Lead program facilitation and quality assurance, including staffing, academic, and moderation processes.
* Develop and review procedures, manage change requests, and communicate risks related to course offerings and program developments.
* Organize events, activities, and workshops to enhance student experience.
About You
* Relevant tertiary qualification in education program coordination, administration, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in developing innovative educational programs that raise awareness for higher education and contribute towards equity and access.
* Strong track record of administrative skills, including compliance, reporting, and quality assurance.
* Understanding of the ACT secondary education environment and challenges.
* Ability to learn new systems and integrate technology into school systems.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Excellent numeracy skills to understand and communicate financial information.
* Able to obtain Working with Vulnerable People registration in the ACT and NSW.
