We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Associate for progression in a dynamic team that accommodates your family responsibilities with work from home and flexible hours.
About the Role
You will work closely with our team and advise a diverse client base across the NFP, private and public sectors on a broad range of employment, industrial and workplace safety matters.
Responsibilities
* Advising and representing clients in State and Federal employment, discrimination and industrial jurisdictions.
* Advising on employment contracts, executive employment matters, restraint of trade issues and workplace disputes.
* Conducting workplace investigations and advising on disciplinary, performance management and compliance matters.
* Advising on workplace safety obligations and incident response.
* Drafting employment contracts, executive service agreements, workplace policies and contractor agreements.
* Advising on restructures, redundancies, mergers and acquisitions.
* Managing matters autonomously and mentoring junior lawyers.
About You
* At least 3 years' post-admission experience in employment law, with workplace safety experience highly regarded.
* Strong drafting, communication and analytical skills.
* A practical, commercial approach to client service.
* The ability to manage matters independently and build strong client relationships.
