About St Jude's Early Learning Centre:St Jude's Early Learning Centre provides a quality preschool education for children in the year before primary school.
The curriculum is grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework, which recognises the importance of communication and language (including literacy and numeracy), as well as social and emotional growth.
Programs include play activities, intentional teaching, and learning experiences tailored to the children's interests.
About the Role:The Early Childhood Teacher delivers a high-quality, play-based preschool program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, fostering a safe and inclusive environment where children feel valued and develop a strong sense of identity.
This position plans, implements, and evaluates learning experiences and builds strong partnerships with families and the community.
Responsibilities include assessing developmental needs, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and CECG policies, and contributing to continuous improvement through professional learning and collaboration.This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.
Responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate play-based learning experiences in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
Assess developmental needs of children and provide appropriate support.
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and CECG policies.
Participate in continuous improvement through professional learning and collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
