About your new Role
The Student Services Officer is a front desk role that supports all aspects of student administration, from orientation through to graduation. The position also manages the Student House accommodation service to ensure a high quality, cost effective experience for residents. In addition, it assists with student activities, promotions, ticket sales, and administrative support for visiting Study Tour Groups.
This role is Monday to Friday (with a half day Wednesday or Thursday) and facilitating student apartment check-ins on a Saturday.
The breakdown of the role includes but not limited it:
* Coordinating Langports' student residence apartments
* Holding the out of hours student accommodation phone with coverage between 7:00am-10:00pm daily (Company phone is provided and on-call allowance paid)
* General Administration
* Cross-training in Student Services to provide coverage for Homestay and Reception as required
* Maintaining weekly KPI's to ensure deadlines are met and the students have a great experience at Langports
Skills and Experience
This role suits a candidate who genuinely loves to multitask and doesn't get flustered doing so The role is part of the small Student Services team and communication and willingness to jump in and help each other out is key to your success and the successful smooth running of the front office.
The successful applicant must have:
* At least one year of service industry experience in a customer/client-facing environment
* Have an organised approach to administrative tasks, possess a strong work ethic
* Be a proficient in multi-tasking, organisation and time management
* Work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* A genuine interest in assisting international students in all aspects of their Australian experience is also important.
* A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essential.
