Job Title: Family Support Specialist
About the Role:
This role requires a dedicated individual to provide support to individuals experiencing domestic and family violence. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing immediate and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing crisis intervention and early intervention when co-responding to domestic and family violence incidents with law enforcement agencies.
* Conducting risk assessments to identify those in need of protection.
* Providing time-limited support, follow-up and collaborative case management.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a human services-related field and/or relevant experience in advocacy, information, referral and/or counselling. They will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
