About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team at Cincotta Discount Chemist Auburn. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the efficient operation of our pharmacy. What you'll be doing
* Assisting customers with their pharmacy and healthcare needs, including answering queries, processing prescriptions, and providing product recommendations
* Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked and organised
* Handling cash and electronic payments while adhering to financial procedures
* Supporting the Pharmacist with various administrative and operational tasks
* Promoting the company's range of products and services to customers
* Participating in staff training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer service-oriented role within the healthcare industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
* Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including the handling of medications and maintaining stock levels
* A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry developments
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays
