Bigdatr is an Australia-based advertising data and insights business that services some of Australia's biggest brands. We supply competitor advertising and marketing intelligence to help our clients make informed decision about their media plans and creative strategies.
The Marketing Manager will lead Bigdatr's marketing function, taking ownership of the full marketing roadmap and driving lead generation into our commercial team. This role is intrinsically linked to the Head of Commercial, with a primary mandate to generate high-quality leads through both paid and organic channels. In addition, the role is responsible for proactive customer communication, retention and nurture initiatives, ensuring all touch points align with the company's voice and tone. The successful candidate will manage a team of four.
Responsibilities
* Design and execute paid and organic lead generation campaigns across multiple channels simultaneously. This includes full funnel paid social campaigns and integrate owned and earned channels to maximise results.
* Optimise campaign performance through continuous testing, measurement, and iteration.
* Work closely with the Head of Commercial to align lead generation activities with revenue targets, supporting the sales pipeline and conversion outcomes.
* Build and manage the marketing funnel, tracking conversion rates and pipeline contribution
* Own proactive customer communication across all touch points, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.
* Develop and execute engagement programs and collateral to improve customer retention.
* Manage communications around new product and feature rollouts to existing customers, leveraging all aspects of owned channels.
* Own and drive the annual marketing roadmap, including key pillars, target markets and audience segments, delivering initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and support business growth.
* Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources across paid initiatives alongside organic channels.
* Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers and partners as needed.
* Lead and manage the marketing team day-to-day, briefing the team, setting priorities and ensuring accountability.
* Lead Mobilise the team into executing campaigns and initiatives in line with the annual roadmap.
Qualifications
* 8+ years of marketing experience with a critical focus on lead generation.
* Proven track record of running multiple paid and organic campaigns concurrently and optimising for results.
* Experience managing marketing teams and leading cross-functional collaboration with sales and product stakeholders.
* Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to articulate customer propositions.
* Strong experience in B2B marketing, ideally within data, SaaS or technology businesses.
* Hands‐on experience with website, social media marketing, content strategy, editorial, advertorial and PR.
* Demonstrated ability to own a marketing roadmap and execute against lead generation and revenue targets.
