About the role
At Big River Pork, we are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Murray Bridge, South Australia. This full-time role will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and support to our state-of-the-art pork processing facility.
What you'll be doing
- Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations and safety standards
- Assist with the installation of new electrical infrastructure and equipment
- Maintain detailed records of all electrical work completed
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical processes and procedures
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior electrical technicians
What we're looking for
- Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical Trade License
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial or commercial electrical maintenance role
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Weekend work when required paid at overtime rates
