Job Overview
The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a seasoned Project Risk Specialist to support technology-led projects within the organisation.
The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring that risk management frameworks are adhered to by recognising, assessing, and tracking risks throughout their lifecycle.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Recognise, evaluate, and track risks in collaboration with project teams.
* Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
* Foster collaboration among project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective risk management.
* Facilitate regular risk workshops to address emerging risks and enhance risk awareness.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive risk logs to ensure effective risk tracking.
* Prepare monthly status reports and Steering Committee reports to highlight current risk assessments and mitigation efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Advanced knowledge of technology risk, preferably with experience in application and data migrations.
* Experience in project risk management is highly desirable.
* Ability to work with senior stakeholders to enhance risk capability within the organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to produce insightful risk reports that drive change and improvement.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business management or risk management are highly regarded.
